Jordan Torres
Executive Director
Jordan Torres has led FTAD as Executive Director for three seasons, growing the organization from a regional pilot into a nationally recognized student competition program. With a background in nonprofit management and a personal history as a high school robotics competitor, Jordan understands the journey students take when they first step into a build space.
Jordan's focus is on organizational health — ensuring FTAD has the partnerships, funding, and operational infrastructure to serve every student team at the same level of quality, regardless of their school's resources. That equity-first approach has become a core part of FTAD's identity.
Jordan is based in Chicago and spends weekends at regional events, where you'll find them in the paddock talking to team leads about what's working and what isn't.
