Valery Rabchanka
Chief Strategy Officer
Valery Rabchanka joined FTAD in its founding year, bringing a background in mechanical engineering and systems design. Her work at several motorsport-adjacent startups gave her an appreciation for what happens when young engineers are given real constraints and real stakes — a philosophy she has embedded into every strategic initiative at FTAD.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Valery oversees the long-term direction of the organization: from how competitions are structured to how FTAD expands into new regions. She works closely with chapter directors and the board to ensure every decision traces back to a single question: does this make the experience better for students?
Outside of FTAD, Valery mentors early-career engineers and has spoken at engineering outreach programs across the country. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from a university she insists is less important than what you build after.
